Fluffy donut dessert

In a bowl, crushed the yeast and added a little sugar, 1 teaspoon, a little warm milk and mix until it dissolves and 2 teaspoons of flour. We mixed until we get a semi-liquid mayonnaise, leaving it to rise for 10 minutes in the heat.

In a bowl put flour, mayonnaise, egg yolks, sugar, lemon peel and mix, gradually adding warm milk, add butter and incorporate very well into the dough. Remove the dough from the bowl and knead it very well for 10 minutes, until you get a perfect dough (and touch it it recovers).

Another bowl is greased with a little butter and we put the dough in it so that it does not stick to the walls of the bowl. Let it warm for 30 minutes.

The dough has risen and we take it out of the bowl and we work a little to remove the bubbles in the dough.

I sprinkled some flour on the counter and started to spread the dough about 1 cm.

With the help of some shapes, which I gave a little through the flour, I cut the donuts. Let them grow a little longer, then fry them in hot oil on both sides. We take them out on a plate lined with absorbent napkins, then we powder them with vanilla powdered sugar.

I got some absolutely delicious donuts!


Donuts fluffy recipe - How to prepare

Step 1 for the fluffy donut recipe

The first step would be to prepare the dough for leavening. Heat the milk so that it is warm to the touch. Take the yeast and pass it with a fork, pour half the amount of milk and 3 tablespoons of flour. Mix everything well and slowly. Leave to rise for half an hour in a warm place, covered with a towel over the container.

In a saucepan put the remaining milk, or leave it in the same if it is large enough, sugar, eggs, rum and vanilla essences, a pinch of salt, 20 gr. of oil, grated lemon peel and simmer until warmed. In a rather large container we put the heated composition, the leavened yeast, and towards the end we add the flour gradually, until the dough is formed. The dough is good when it barely grips your hands. Then take it out of the container and pour a tablespoon of oil on a clean surface and start kneading. So a little more is poured from the remaining oil and continue to knead well. When the dough is well bound, put it back in the container and leave for another hour to leaven.

Step 2

Remove the shell and spread a sheet of about 1 cm from it. thickness. We take a shape (I made the models with a small cup of coffee) and press the dough well with it, until it forms circles. Remove the remaining dough and shape some balls out of them. They will also be good for cooking. All donuts made are left approx. another 10 min. to grow a little more.

Step 3

Meanwhile, pour the oil for frying in a pan and wait for it to heat up. When the oil is ready, put the donuts carefully, and the fire must be appropriate. When they turn golden, they return to the other side. They must be kept long enough to be well made inside.

We take them out on a plate with a napkin, to absorb the excess oil, and we powder these delicious donuts with vanilla sugar.


  • -180 g flour

  • -1 vanilla essence or vanilla paste
  • -a pinch of salt
  • -1 teaspoon baking powder
  • -300 ml oil for frying
  • -chocolate cream or powdered sugar for decoration

How to prepare the recipe for fluffy chocolate donuts

Put in a bowl the yogurt, eggs, essence, vanilla sugar, lemon peel and salt. We mix them all very well until smooth and then we can add flour and baking powder. Stir until well incorporated into the yogurt and egg mixture.

After obtaining the desired dough, heat the oil in a saucepan. When the oil is hot enough we can fry the donuts. We will use a teaspoon that we always pass through cold water before taking the dough.

Be very careful not to have a lot of water on the teaspoon because when we put the donuts in the hot oil, it will jump and there is a risk of scalding.

Let it fry for a few minutes on one side and then turn them on the other side. You will also have the smartest donuts that will return on their own. Let them brown nicely and take them out on a paper napkin to absorb the excess oil.

After I finished the dough, I powdered the donuts with powdered sugar or decorated them with chocolate cream. I preferred chocolate to have a more beautiful look. I used a pos and drew a few lines over the warm donuts.

The amount of flour may vary slightly depending on the eggs and the type of yogurt used to make the dough.

Pour the remaining flour into a deep bowl. Add the yolks, remaining sugar and salt.Melt the butter and let it cool a bit, then add it to the flour bowl. At the end, add the raised yeast and knead the dough.Cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and put it in a warm place for about 1 hour, to have time to rise.After the dough has risen enough and doubled in volume, we transfer it to the worktop sprinkled with flour. Spread the dough in a sheet about 1 cm thick.

Using a round-mouthed glass, cut out circles from the dough.With a smaller glass, we make a smaller hole in the middle of the circle to get donut rings. Knead the remaining dough again and cut it in the same way to form more donuts.

Put a pan with oil on the fire. When the oil heats up, put the donuts in the pan. Fry the donuts on both sides until golden brown.After the donuts are fried, let them cool, then powder them with powdered sugar. Good appetite, with your loved ones and increase your cooking!

7. Fry the donuts twisted in hot oil, over low-medium heat, until well browned on all sides.

8. Drain them and remove them in a mixture of powdered sugar or fine sugar, combined with cinnamon to taste.
