Heartburn with vanilla, chocolate and lime


In a saucepan, boil water, oil and a pinch of salt. When it starts to boil, add the flour, mix vigorously until smooth and remove from the heat. Leave to cool for about an hour. Then add eggs, one by one, mixing well.

You get about 2 trays with eclairs. Leave to cool.


In a saucepan, mix the yolks with the sugar and the seeds from half of the vinyl pods well, add the flour and warm milk and put on low heat. When it starts to thicken, stir vigorously (not to form lumps) for about 1 minute, then remove from the heat. Add the butter and mix well.

Separate the cream into several bowls, depending on how many flavors you want to get. I wanted a vanilla cream, a little lime peel and an orange peel (for my sister), and in another bowl, I added a few squares of dark chocolate and stirred quickly, while the cream was still hot, to melt the chocolate.

Leave the creams to cool. After cooling, they will thicken (like puddings).

Beat the whipped cream until it becomes consistent and creamy.

Cut the eclairs in half, fill them, place them on a plate, dust them with sugar and decorate them with orange peel.

Portions: 2 trays (not many come out, about 42 assorted, meaning big and small. Or 20 big hearts. About as much for a family weekend :)

Chocolate heart cake

It is a very simple recipe, that of the fluffy cocoa cake (the source of inspiration here), which I made in duplicate to have that chocolate heart.


1. Brown check:

Flour 000- 200 g
Old powder- 200 g
Separate eggs - 5 (at room temperature)
Vanilla sugar - 2 sachets
Oil - 4 tbsp
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Salt-1 dust
Cocoa- 3 tablespoons + 4 tablespoons water

2. Yellow check:

The same ingredients, except for the cocoa + water mixture.

Method of preparation:

1-The egg whites, in which we add a pinch of salt, mix at maximum speed, in a dry bowl, large enough.
2-When the foam is beaten, add the vanilla sugar and mix again.
3-Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing after each amount added until complete incorporation.
4-Mix the yolks with the oil (gradually add the oil, stirring constantly, as for mayonnaise).
5-Mix the yolks and oil over the beaten egg whites, little by little, mixing with a spatula from bottom to top.
6-Add the baking powder over the amount of flour and mix well.
7-Add the flour to the composition, spoon by spoon, mixing with wide movements from bottom to top, until it is very well incorporated.
8-The amount of cocoa is mixed well with 4 tablespoons of water, until it looks like a cream is added to the composition (again, mix with wide movements, so as not to remove the air from the composition).
9-Pour into a cake pan lined with baking paper and put in the preheated oven over medium heat until it passes the toothpick test.
10-After it has cooled, cut into slices, not too thin.
11-Hearts are cut from slices with the help of a biscuit shape. If possible, cut two hearts out of one slice, not just one.
12-The yellow check is made after the same steps, without adding the cocoa mixture.
13-Before adding the composition of the yellow cake in the tray (a large cake tray is needed), we place the hearts cut in a row, in the middle of the tray, pressing them very lightly, so that it can stand & # 8221.
14-Pour the yellow composition over the hearts and put it in the oven, in the same baking conditions as for the first cake.

  • 150 ml water
  • 100 gr butter
  • 300 gr sugar
  • 75 gr cocoa
  • a pinch of salt

Method of preparation:

Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and let them drain. We cut them into larger pieces. Cut the bananas into thicker slices. The pieces are placed on chopsticks alternating strawberries with banana slices.

Prepare the chocolate sauce: put the water with the sugar, salt and butter in a saucepan, when the butter has melted, add the cocoa and mix vigorously. Simmer for 13-15 minutes, then leave to cool for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally.

The prepared chopsticks are placed on a tray. Pour the chocolate in a bag (like the thick ones, in the freezer) and cut very little in a corner and decorate the skewers. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.



  • 50 ml white rum
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 60 ml of mineral water
  • 6 strawberries
  • a teaspoon of brown sugar
  • ice cubes

Method of preparation:

Strain the strawberries in a blender.

In a cocktail glass or long drink glass put a few ice cubes and add the other ingredients plus strawberry puree. Stir and serve. It can be decorated with a slice of lime or a strawberry.

If you have a blender with a powerful motor, you can also crush the ice a little.

If you do not want ice at all, you can give it up, the drink will be perfect and without.

  • 100 gr sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 120 gr flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • grated peel of a lemon

Method of preparation:

Wash the strawberries, remove the stalks and let them drain. We cut them into slices and sprinkle 1-2 tablespoons of sugar.

The whites separate from the yolks. The yolks are mixed with the rest of the sugar until they dissolve, and the composition acquires a light color.

Add the flour and mix lightly with a spoon, so that no air comes out of the dough.

Whisk the egg whites with salt.

Incorporate the egg whites into the yolks, mixing gently. The formed composition is poured into a tray (20 × 30) lined with baking paper. Spread evenly over the entire surface and level. On top, add strawberry slices to the entire surface of the cake, without deepening them.

Place the tray in the oven at the right temperature. When it turns golden - slightly browned, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely.

Powder the entire surface with powdered sugar and portion.



  • 600 gr strawberries
  • 250 gr margarine
  • 400 gr flour
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 200 gr liquid whipped cream
  • 250 gr mascarpone

  • 5 tablespoons powdered sugar

Method of preparation:

Mix in a bowl flour, margarine, oil, vinegar and water and add half a teaspoon of salt. Knead well, then leave the dough in the fridge for half an hour.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling. In a deeper bowl, beat the whipped cream with a mixer until it hardens, then add the mascarpone cheese and mix a little more. Add lime juice, vanilla and powdered sugar and mix until smooth.

Place the dough in a round tray and bake for 10-15 minutes, until it bakes and turns golden. Then put the filling and cover the entire surface with halves of strawberries.

Leave the tart in the fridge for half an hour, and when you put it on the table you will have a refreshing and very fragrant dessert.



Method of preparation:

Wash the fruits and let them drain a little, then add the sugar over them.

For one kilogram of fruit, prepare a foam from five egg whites that beat very well, until a hard composition is obtained. So much so that if you turn the bowl over, the foam should not flow.

Chocolate fondant hearts

1. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a bain-marie with the butter.

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 sweet potatoes
  • 400 g of canned chickpeas, washed and drained
  • & frac12 tablespoon of olive oil
  • & frac12 teaspoon of coriander seeds, cumin, paprika

  • juice from & frac12 lemon
  • 3 cloves of chopped garlic
